Définition:
Cellulite is a lipo-hydro-dystrophy, an inflammation of the adipose tissue by an excess of triglycerin which causes a compression of the tissues of the blood and lymphatic channels. This compression causes a swelling of the skin that takes a padded appearance (orange peel).
Let’s try to make it simpler:
Cellulite is a conjunction of several factors that follow one another:
-An imbalance between the storage of fat and their destocking which leads to an accumulation in the adipocytes.
-A compression of the blood and lymphatic microcirculation by these fat cells, as well as by collagen fibers (comparable to the meshes of a net).
– A blockage of the elimination of the water, toxins and fats.
Good to know, 90% of women are affected by cellulite, whether they are thin or overweight, (almost) all women have cellulite …. ouf !!!!!
 
 

 

 

There are 4 stages of cellulite:

– Stage 0: the baby’s skin

– Stage 1: padded appearance or aqueous cellulite: padded appearance that appears during a pinch, the skin is irregular but not painful. It is a reversible cellulite, products and sport can overcome!

-Stand 2: dimpled appearance visible when you are standing and disappears lying down or cellulite fat: it is due to a lack of physical activity and poor diet. Soft and not painful, it is commonly called saddlebags.

-Stage 3: dimpled appearance visible standing and lying down or fibrous cellulite: it is an old cellulite more compact and painful to the touch.

-Well eat:

Say yes to omega 3, they promote the burning of fat reserves. Choose rapeseed oil and walnut oil. As well as fish such as mackerel, herring, sardines, salmon, trout. Consume lean meats (white ham, chicken breast …) and legumes (lentils, split peas), these foods are rich in protein.

As say the English “eat five a day, keep the doctor away!” consume your 5 fruits and vegetables a day, for vitamin and fiber intake with satiating action.

-Favor food supplements with borage, ginkgo biloba and AHA.

– We can never say enough, make sure to drink at least 1.5l per day (water, herbal tea …)

– Reduce salt intake, and yes it retains water in the tissues.
